Google Calendar + Webair AI

Read your day, create or move meetings, and never forget who you're meeting — all by texting.

All connections happen inside the Webair AI app via Google's official OAuth.

Why we built this

Why Webair AI uses Google Calendar.

A calendar is just a list of names and times until your AI knows the relationships behind them. Webair AI connects Google Calendar so you can ask 'who am I meeting tomorrow?' and get the full picture — last conversation, open threads, what's on deck.

Need to book, move, or cancel a meeting? Just text Webair AI. It drafts the event (date, time, attendees, agenda, conferencing link), shows you the preview, and writes it to your real Google Calendar after you approve.

How it works

Connecting Google Calendar takes about a minute.

Step 01

Sign in to Webair AI

Create your Webair AI account at app.webair.ai (or log in if you already have one). All connections happen after you've authenticated — never from the marketing site.

Step 02

Authorize the connection

From your Webair AI dashboard, click Connect and sign in to the provider through their official OAuth flow. You see exactly which permissions are requested before granting access.

Step 03

Use it from iMessage or web

Text Webair AI from your phone or use the web app — every reply is informed by the connected account, and the relevant context is added to your private Knowledge Hub.

What data we access

Every permission, in plain English.

These are the exact OAuth scopes Webair AI requests from Google — and the reason we need each one. We follow the principle of least privilege: nothing extra, nothing optional that isn't surfaced to you.

https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.readonly
Read your calendar so Webair AI can answer 'what's on my schedule?' and surface upcoming meetings with the right context.
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.events
Create, update, and decline events when you ask Webair AI to schedule, reschedule, or cancel — in your real Google Calendar. Each write action is previewed and only fires after your explicit approval.

Webair AI uses Google's official OAuth flow. You see this exact list before you grant access — and you can revoke any time.

Data handling

How Google Calendar data is stored and protected.

We treat connected-app data with the same posture as the rest of Webair AI: encrypted, scoped to your account, never sold, and never used to train public AI models.

  • Read + write integration: Webair AI can read your schedule and create, update, or decline events on your behalf — but every write action is previewed and only fires after your explicit approval inside Webair AI. Webair AI never modifies your calendar on its own.
  • Calendar events are fetched on demand to answer your requests.
  • Attendee names, meeting titles, and notes may be saved to your private Knowledge Hub as structured facts (e.g., 'You meet Lisa Chen weekly at 10am ET').
  • OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest.
  • Disconnecting immediately revokes the token. Calendar-derived facts can be deleted on request.
  • Your calendar data is never used to train any public AI model.
Encrypted at rest Never trained on Revocable any time
