Search old conversations

Open the wide sidebar
Chat history tools appear when the sidebar is expanded.

Use Search chats
Type at least two characters. Search checks titles and message text.

Choose a result
The matching conversation opens where you left it.

Pin chats and use folders
- Choose the plus-folder button beside search to make a folder.
- Open a chat’s three-dot menu and choose Pin.
- Use Move to folder to file the chat.
- Open a folder’s menu to rename or delete the folder. Deleting a folder does not delete its chats.

Rename or delete
- Choose Rename from the three-dot menu, type the new name, and press Enter.
- Choose Delete to remove one conversation.
- Choose Clear all beside Recents to remove all chats. The app asks you to confirm first.
Check before clearing all
Clear all removes the whole conversation history, not only the eight chats currently shown in the sidebar.
